Scope & who handles your information
54 Media Group ("we," "us," or "our") provides media, design, development, marketing, and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information in our business relationships and on the websites, apps, and digital products we operate that link to this Policy. Product-specific notices explain additional features or practices and control for those features if they differ from this Policy.
When we decide why and how information is used, we act as its controller or the equivalent business under applicable law. When we develop, host, or support a client's website or app and process its users' information only on that client's instructions, the client is responsible for its privacy notice and decisions, and we act as its service provider or processor. Direct requests about those products to the operator named in the product; we assist clients as required by our agreements and law.
This Policy describes information handling, not a blanket request for consent. Additional permissions, notices, or agreements may be required for particular products, sensitive information, children, or regulated uses.
Information we collect
The information involved depends on your interaction with us. Our website contact and quote forms collect the details you enter; demo scheduling collects your name, email, phone, company, selected product, preferred date and time, and notes. Please avoid putting passwords, payment-card details, health information, or other sensitive information in general forms.
- Contact and business information: name, email, phone number, organization, role, correspondence, and support requests provided by you or an authorized business contact.
- Project and submitted content: requirements, budgets, files, brand assets, feedback, and information you provide to deliver a project or use a product.
- Account and transaction information, where a product supports them: account identifiers, plan, orders, billing details, payment status, licenses, and purchase history. Payment providers or app stores handle payment credentials under their own notices; do not send full card details to our support team.
- Technical and usage information: pages visited, referring pages, browser and device characteristics, approximate location derived from network information, timestamps, performance measurements, and service or security logs. Hosting providers may process IP addresses to deliver and secure requests.
- App feature information, only where the feature is offered: content you upload, settings, diagnostics, and information accessed through permissions you grant. A product's notice and permission prompts identify any camera, microphone, photo, contact, or precise-location access; this master Policy does not mean every app collects these categories.
Where information comes from
We receive information directly from you, automatically from your interaction with our Services, and from people or providers involved in the relationship, such as your employer, an authorized client contact, a payment provider, or an integration you connect. The applicable product notice identifies additional sources where relevant.
If you provide another person's information, you must have a lawful basis to share it and provide any required notice. We use information obtained from third parties only for the relevant business or product purpose and as permitted by law.
How & why we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries; prepare quotes; schedule demos; perform projects; provide and support products; administer accounts, purchases, and renewals; deliver essential service communications; diagnose errors; understand website usage; protect the Services; prevent fraud; keep business records; and meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Where we send promotional communications, we do so in accordance with applicable marketing rules and any required consent. You can unsubscribe through a message's instructions or contact us. A project inquiry or acceptance of this Policy does not itself authorize unrelated promotional texts or emails.
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, our legal bases may include performing a contract or taking steps you request before entering one; legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our business where not outweighed by your rights; legal obligations; and consent where required. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Required information is necessary to fulfill the corresponding request; optional information can be withheld.
Service providers & other disclosures
We share relevant information with providers supporting our business for the purposes described here. The current company website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights for audience and performance measurement, Google Firebase/Firestore for demo appointment records, and an email delivery service configured through SMTP2GO for contact and quote submissions. Hosting and infrastructure providers also process information needed to serve and secure the site.
Depending on your purchase or engagement, recipients may also include payment processors, app stores, domain registrars, hosting and email providers, approved contractors, and professional advisers. We limit disclosure to the relevant purpose and use appropriate contractual restrictions where required. An independent provider, such as an app store or domain registrar, also handles information under its own privacy notice.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, protect people or rights, investigate misuse, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable safeguards and notice obligations. Information you intentionally publish through a product may be visible to its intended audience. We may also share at your direction or with your consent.
Apps, permissions & third-party services
A product-specific notice explains any additional app data, SDKs, advertising, AI features, sensitive information, permissions, or automated decisions. Enabling a device permission is not permission for unrelated uses. You can change supported permissions in device settings, disconnect integrations, and use account controls supplied by the product; uninstalling an app does not necessarily delete an account or cancel billing.
Links to external sites, app stores, social networks, and embedded third-party services are governed by those providers' notices for their own processing. Client-operated apps and websites need their own accurate privacy disclosures even when we created them. Contact us if you are unsure who operates a product.
Retention & deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including active inquiries and projects, account administration, support, accounting, security, legal obligations, and the establishment or defense of claims. The appropriate period depends on the relationship, information type, applicable recordkeeping rules, and whether a dispute or legal hold requires preservation.
When information is no longer needed, it should be deleted or de-identified through the relevant operational process. A deletion request may not immediately remove records from backups, which remain restricted until overwritten or deleted under the applicable backup cycle. We may retain information legally required or permitted for a continuing purpose and explain relevant exceptions when responding to a request. Client-controlled information follows the client's instructions and our applicable agreement.
Security & international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the information and Services to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Use unique passwords where accounts are offered and report suspected security issues to support@54mediagroup.com without including passwords or unnecessary sensitive details.
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where the relevant infrastructure or personnel are located. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where a restricted international transfer requires safeguards, we must use an appropriate lawful mechanism, such as applicable standard contractual clauses or another recognized transfer mechanism. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data; using a website alone is not consent to waive transfer protections.
Your privacy rights & requests
Depending on your location, the laws that apply to our business, and the information involved, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your personal information; know its sources, purposes, and recipient categories; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and receive portable data. Some jurisdictions also provide rights to opt out of sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, and to limit particular uses of sensitive information.
Email support@54mediagroup.com with the subject "Privacy request," or use our Contact page. Identify the Service, the email associated with your interaction, and the request you want to make. Do not send a government ID or password in an initial request. We may request proportionate verification to protect your information; authorized agents may submit requests with appropriate evidence of authority.
We respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension or denial. Rights are subject to applicable exceptions, including recordkeeping and the rights of others. Where an appeal is available, reply to our decision asking for review. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator or supervisory authority. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Additional regional information
For California and other US residents, the categories, sources, purposes, and recipients described above explain our handling of identifiers and contact information, commercial information, internet activity, professional information, and content you supply. Statutory rights depend on whether the relevant law applies to the business and processing. This Policy does not assert that every state privacy statute applies to every interaction.
The company website's described collection supports inquiries, scheduling, business services, and measurement, rather than advertising-data sales. A separate product's notice must state any sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or sensitive-data practices and provide required choices; this Policy does not authorize undisclosed practices. Contact us to ask about disclosures for direct marketing or other rights available in your jurisdiction.
For people in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the legal-basis, rights, and transfer sections above apply where the relevant law covers our processing. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object based on your situation; you may object to direct marketing at any time. Contact us for clarification of the responsible operator or any representative relevant to a particular product.
Children's privacy
Our company website and business inquiry services are intended for a general business audience, not to solicit personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information should contact support@54mediagroup.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
An app or service intended for children or used with knowledge of a child's age requires its own appropriate age rules, privacy disclosures, and any legally required parental consent before collection. This master Policy does not authorize collecting children's information or replace those requirements. Higher age thresholds and additional protections may apply depending on location and product.
Policy changes & contact
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our Services or practices and will revise the date above. We will provide additional notice and obtain consent for changes where required by law. A new policy does not by itself authorize a materially incompatible use of previously collected information.
For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, contact 54 Media Group at support@54mediagroup.com or through our Contact page. Please name the website, app, or project involved so we can route your request to the appropriate team or client operator.
